The federal government with revenues of more than $3 trillion issued its financial report 149 days after its financial year end. 

To date Illinois with revenues of $54 billion has not issued its June 30, 2009 financial report.  The report is now 322 days late. 

Isn't there important financial information in that report that we should have before we determine our next budget?
