Truth in 2008 Challenges Presidential Candidates

I say the best change would be for the government to stop misleading budget practices.

I am glad that the presidential candidates are talking about change.  Since its inception the Institute for Truth in Accounting has been focusing on changing the way the government calculates the budget and its financial statements.  We are calling for an end to misleading budget calculations that hide out hundreds of billions of dollars of expenses, leaving us $54 trillions in the hole.  We are working to get the people in Washington to tell us the truth about the government's finances.  Politicians telling us the truth.  That would be the best change of all.

We challenge the presidential candidates to lead the way by talking about how far in debt we currently are, giving us an honest calculation of how much their campaign promises will cost and whether they have a plan to fund these promises or how much further in debt will their promises put us.
